Calendar recovery

Stored calendar data could not be opened safely

FateLoom kept the original browser data unchanged and opened the demo calendar in read-only recovery mode.

Navigate

Wheel · centre
Scroll horizontally in the centre three fifths of the diagram.
Wheel · sides
Scroll vertically in the outer left and right fifths.
Ctrl + wheel
Zoom around the pointer.
Drag empty space
Pan horizontally and vertically.
Go to
Choose a date to centre its month without changing calendars.

Create and edit

H
Create a milestone at the pointer; over an interval, create an associated milestone.
I
Create an interval at the pointer.
Press and hold
Hold an item for 600 ms to edit its title inline. Enter saves and Esc cancels.
Interval handles
Drag the start or end handle to resize the interval.
Pause over interval
Wait one second: the upper selector adds an associated milestone at the pointer date; move to the lower half to switch it to Add interval below.
Right click item
Open its variables and copyable template references.

Select

Click
Select one item. Click empty space to clear the selection.
Ctrl + click
Add or remove an item from the selection.
Alt + click
Select an interval together with its associated milestones.
Shift + click
Select an interval and the contained interval block below it; add Ctrl to toggle that block.
Shift + drag empty space
Select items with a rectangle; add Alt to include associated milestones.

Move, copy, and connect

Drag item
Move its date and lane. A milestone moves its date.
Alt + drag
Change an interval lane without changing dates; for a milestone, adjust dependent offsets.
Ctrl + drag
Duplicate at the target date and lane. Add Alt to preserve dates.
Shift while dragging
Preserve visible lane gaps in a multiple selection.
Dependency circle
Choose a temporal point, then pick its dependency target. Esc or right click cancels.
Lane controls
Move or delete a lane; add above or below when Compact view is off.

Clipboard and selection shortcuts

C / Ctrl+C
Copy selected items.
X / Ctrl+X
Cut selected items.
V / Ctrl+V
Preview a paste at the pointer; click to confirm.
Delete
Delete selected items.
Esc
Cancel dragging, paste preview, inline editing, or dependency picking.

Calendars

Select a calendar. Double-click or press Enter to open it.
